Featuring the Classic Walking Liberty Design of Adolph Weinman. Obverse: On the obverse is the iconic Walking Liberty design that Adolph Weinman created for the Half Dollar of the same name. An American flag-draped Liberty carries laurel and oak branches while extending her right hand as if to greet the morning sun. Inscriptions on this face include her name, "LIBERTY, " the date, "2021, " and the national motto, IN GOD WE TRUST. Adolph Weinman played an important role in America's early 20th century numismatic renaissance. His best known contributions to it were the designs of the Mercury Dime and the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Reverse: John Mercanti used the Great Seal of the United States as his model for the reverse design. A heraldic eagle clutches arrows and an olive branch while guarding a union shield under thirteen stars, symbols of the original states. The image is encircled by the rim inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, " 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, " and "ONE DOLLAR. John Mercanti spent over three and a half decades working for the US Mint, part of which he spent as its Chief Engraver.
