Weinman's design for the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar obverse. Lady Liberty is portrayed walking towards a new day's sun, while gracefully enveloped in an American flag. Inscribed "LIBERTY, " "IN GOD WE TRUST, " "2023" and the artist's "AW" monogram.

Reverse: An eagle preparing to land is depicted on the reverse, with an oak branch in its grip. National bird is surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, " 1 OZ.
