Obverse inscriptions include her name, "LIBERTY, " the date, "2023, " and the national motto, IN GOD WE TRUST. Adolph Weinman was a sculptor who immigrated from Germany. He played a central role in the nation's early 20th century numismatic renaissance.Reverse: On the reverse is an eagle preparing to land with an oak branch in tow. The image was designed by Emily Damstra and is encircled by rim inscriptions, which read, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, " "ONE DOLLAR, " and 1 OZ. " The motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM is inscribed on this face.
