"LIBERTY" is boldly inscribed above while the year-date is found at the bottom rim. Each coin is Beautiful Uncirculated (BU). On the reverse, a bald eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide in a heraldic pose. Thirteen stars are arranged in an inverted triangle above the eagle's head. Its talons are clasping a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. Rim inscriptions include the issuing country "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the specifications 1 OZ. The obverse side of the new 2021 American Silver Eagle Type 2 Coin features the Walking Liberty design from Adolph A. This design was first developed in 1916. The image shows Liberty in left-profile relief walking toward the sun on the horizon. Beneath the "TR" in the inscription of "In God We Trust" is where you will find Weinman's signature mark consisting of his "AW" initials. The new reverse design shows a bald eagle flying now in a more life like design.
